“We really enjoyed exhibiting at the show and it was fabulous to see students and teachers alike begin to understand the full extent of the food & drink industry from farm to fork and everything in between.”

Amy Crooks, National Skills Academy for Food and Drink

“SkillsCymru is a major event in our marketing calendar. There is no other event that enables us to engage with as many people in our target market. It's a fantastic opportunity for us to get our brand in front of pupils who are making decisions about their career and future, to educate them about the amazing opportunities available at ACT Training. This year we spoke to 1,500 teenagers, the majority of which were unsure of what they were going to do after school/sixth form/college. It is the only platform that enables us to interact on a face-to-face basis with our target audience under one roof and over two days.”

Jayne McGill-Harris, ACT Training

“SkillsCymru was an excellent opportunity for us to raise brand awareness with not only students, but also parents and teachers who are really important in influencing students future career paths.”

Rumeet Johal, Milkround Online

“Barclays Lifeskills was my favourite because it'll help with my CV.”

Owain Davies, Student

“I was really pleased with the way the students engaged and the support offered by your exhibitors. There were some really useful contacts there and the information on apprenticeships was invaluable. I was very impressed with the information sent out to help organise the trip initially and it made our job a lot easier. Also, the security at the event was brilliant and gave us the peace of mind to allow the students the independence to explore the stands for themselves. Thanks very much and I am sure we will be back.”

Kate Davies-Maddocks, Monmouth School

“Thank you for allowing us to come to the SkillsCymru event again this year. All the students really enjoyed it.”
