Skills London 2019 is supported by many organisations, including Edwardian Hotels London. Below is a message from the Edwardian Hotels London team to all Skills London 2019 attendees:
We are delighted that Edwardian Hotels London has partnered with Skills London and London First for Skills London 2019.
Edwardian Hotels London is Britain’s most dynamic independent hospitality group. At the heart of the company, and across every one of our brands, is a simple belief that we are all hosts: from back of house to boardroom.
With an enviable collection of luxurious distinctive hotels and restaurants including The May Fair, A Radisson Collection Hotel, Radisson Blu Edwardian, London Hotels, Steak & Lobster, Scoff & Banter, May Fair Kitchen, May Fair Bar, Monmouth Kitchen, Leicester Square Kitchen, Peter Street Kitchen and Bloomsbury Street Kitchen; Edwardian’s individual style and design encapsulates its unique position in the most desirable locations within London and Manchester.
Our main aim at Skills London will be to introduce Edwardian Hotels London to all visitors and to showcase all the opportunities available for people to join the workforce at a world class hospitality group.
We will highlight permanent job opportunities and unpaid work placements at Edwardian Hotels London. We will also introduce the “Edwardian Hotels London Apprenticeship Programme” to the young visitors, their teachers and their parents and families.
As you may know, an apprenticeship is a real job, with hands-on experience, a salary and the chance to train while you work.
If you’re 16 or over, you can become an apprentice as long as you spend at least half of your working hours in England for the duration of the apprenticeship and you are not in full-time education.
Edwardian Hotels London Apprenticeship Programme can take between 12 and 18 months to complete, depending on which apprenticeship you choose. We offer apprenticeships in housekeeping or culinary, which includes training up to Chef de Partie level.
You get valuable hands-on experience working whilst you learn, which helps you to progress in your work and personal life.
Come and talk to us on 15 and 16 November at Skills London 2019. We look forward to meeting you at Stand 602.
