Apprenticeship opportunities and careers advice for young people will be on offer at Skills Scotland, Scotland’s largest skills, career and apprenticeship event series for 14-24 year olds.
Now in its 11th year, Skills Scotland, run by Prospects Events (part of The Shaw Trust) will once again welcome up to 10,000 visitors across three different shows held in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, this November.
The skills events are free to attend and are taking place on 6 (9.30am-3pm and 4.30pm-7pm) and 7 (9.30am-3pm) November at the SEC Centre, Glasgow, 11 (5pm-7pm) and 12 (9.30am-3pm) November at P&J Live at TECA, Aberdeen and on 13 (5pm-7pm) and 14 (9.30am-3pm) November at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.
Supported each year by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and with key sponsors for 2019 including Go Construct (CITB), Coca-Cola European Partners, Scottish Power and DYW North East, Skills Scotland provides young people with high quality careers advice and the opportunity to meet face-to-face with local and national employers, training providers, colleges and universities.

Through interactive, hands-on activities and demonstrations, young people can experience different jobs, learn new skills and bridge the gap between what they enjoy doing and what they could potentially do as a career.
